Part I. The Riddle: The Mystery of the Pyramids
Who turned out the lights?
And it shall be, on the day when you cross over the Jordan to the land which the Lord your God is giving you, that you shall set up for yourselves large stones, and whitewash them with lime.
And one said to the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, “How long shall the fulfillment of these wonders be?”
Then I heard the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand to heaven, and swore by Him who lives forever, that it shall be for a time, times, and half a time; and when the power of the holy people has been completely shattered, all these things shall be finished.
Although I heard, I did not understand. Then I said, “My lord, what shall be the end of these things?” And he said, “Go your way, Daniel, for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.
Come, you children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the Lord.
“So you shall know that I am the Lord your God, Dwelling in Zion My holy mountain.
“Micah of Moresheth prophesied in the days of Hezekiah king of Judah, and spoke to all the people of Judah, saying, ‘Thus says the Lord of hosts:
“Zion shall be plowed like a field, Jerusalem shall become heaps of ruins, And the mountain of the temple Like the bare hills of the forest.”’
I know Ephraim, I knew you in the wilderness, In the land of great drought. And Israel is not hidden from Me; For now, O Ephraim, you commit harlotry; Israel is defiled. “They do not direct their deeds For the spirit of harlotry is in their midst, And they do not know the Lord.
Ephraim is a trained heifer That loves to thresh grain;“God brings him out of Egypt;
He has strength like a wild ox; He shall consume the nations, his enemies; He shall break their bones and pierce them with his arrows. His glory is like a firstborn bull, and his horns like the horns of the wild ox; Together with them He shall push the peoples to the ends of the earth; They are the ten thousands of Ephraim, and they are the thousands of Manasseh.”
But I harnessed her fair neck,
I will make Ephraim pull a plow. Judah shall plow; Jacob shall break his clods.”

“Egypt is a very pretty heifer, but destruction comes, it comes from the north. Also her mercenaries are in her midst like fat bulls, for they also are turned back, they have fled away together. They did not stand, For the day of their calamity had come upon them, The time of their punishment.
Let the blessing come ‘on the head of Joseph, and on the crown of the head of him who was separate from his brothers.’
The revolters are deeply involved in slaughter, Though I rebuke them all.
“Because you were glad, because you rejoiced, You destroyers of My heritage, because you have grown fat like a heifer threshing grain, and you bellow like bulls,
Let the blessing come ‘on the head of Joseph, and on the crown of the head of him who was separate from his brothers.’
The revolters are deeply involved in slaughter, Though I rebuke them all.
“Because you were glad, because you rejoiced, You destroyers of My heritage, because you have grown fat like a heifer threshing grain, and you bellow like bulls,
Your mother shall be deeply ashamed; She who bore you shall be ashamed. Behold, the least of the nations shall be a wilderness, A dry land and a desert. Because you trusted in your own way, In the multitude of your mighty men.
Therefore tumult shall arise among your people, And all your fortresses shall be plundered, A mother dashed in pieces upon her children. And aliens, the most terrible of the nations, have cut it down and left it; its branches have fallen on the mountains and in all the valleys; its boughs lie broken by all the rivers of the land; and all the peoples of the earth have gone from under its shadow and left it. As bands of robbers lie in wait for a man,
“But like men they transgressed the covenant;
Therefore tumult shall arise among your people, And all your fortresses shall be plundered, A mother dashed in pieces upon her children. And aliens, the most terrible of the nations, have cut it down and left it; its branches have fallen on the mountains and in all the valleys; its boughs lie broken by all the rivers of the land; and all the peoples of the earth have gone from under its shadow and left it. “But like men they transgressed the covenant;
I have seen a horrible thing in the house of Israel: There is the harlotry of Ephraim; Israel is defiled. Ephraim is oppressed and broken in judgment, because he willingly walked by human precept. Ephraim shall be desolate in the day of rebuke; Among the tribes of Israel I make known what is sure. Therefore, I will be to Ephraim like a moth, there and to the house of Judah like rottenness. For the moth will eat them up like a garment, And the worm will eat them like wool;
“For Israel is stubborn Like a stubborn calf; When they had pasture, they were filled; They were filled and their heart was exalted; Therefore, they forgot Me. (insert picture of old Egypt)
Now the Lord will let them forage Like a lamb in open country.
“So I will be to them like a lion; Like a leopard by the road I will lurk; (insert sphinx)

He bows down, he lies down as a lion; He dwells as a lion, And tears the arm and the crown of his head.
And as a lion, who shall rouse him?
it shall be a statute forever to the children of Israel and to the stranger who dwells among them. Strangers shall stand and feed your flocks, And the sons of the foreigner Shall be your plowmen and your vine dressers.
Who is wise? Let him understand these things.

Judah is a lion’s whelp;Their roaring will be like a lion, They will roar like young lions;
Yes, they will roar And lay hold of the prey; They will carry it away safely, And no one will deliver. In that day they will roar against them Like the roaring of the sea. And if one looks to the land, Behold, darkness and sorrow; And the light is darkened by the clouds. From the prey, my son, you have gone up.
Who is prudent? Let him know them.
For the ways of the Lord are right; The righteous walk in them, but transgressors stumble in them...
Now there was a day when his sons and daughters were eating and drinking wine in their oldest brother’s house; and a messenger came to Job and said,
“The oxen were plowing and the donkeys feeding beside them,
A haughty look, a proud heart, And the plowing of the wicked are sin.

Mystery of the Pyramids
So David commanded to gather the aliens and he appointed masons to cut hewn stones to build the house of God. Of the sons of Issachar who had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do, their chiefs were two hundred; and all their brethren were at their command; And the temple, when it was being built, was built with stone finished at the quarry, so that no hammer or chisel or any iron tool was heard in the temple while it was being built.
Moreover the Lord says:
“Because the daughters of Zion are haughty, And walk with outstretched necks And wanton eyes,
Walking and mincing as they go,
He may pile it up, He builds his house like a moth, like a booth which a watchman makes. All of them were of the same mold, one measure, and one shape.
“When you build a new house, then you shall make a parapet for your roof, that you may not bring guilt of bloodshed on your household if anyone falls from it.
“They do not direct their deeds Toward turning to their God, For the spirit of harlotry is in their midst, and they do not know the Lord. They prepare their heart like an oven, “an altar of whole stones over which no man has wielded an iron tool.” And they offered on it burnt offerings to the Lord, and sacrificed peace offerings.
And the temple, when it was being built, was built with stone finished at the quarry, so that no hammer or chisel or any iron tool was heard in the temple while it was being built. Onyx stones, stones to be set, glistening stones of various colors, all kinds of precious stones, and marble slabs in abundance. With the point of a diamond it is engraved On the tablet of their heart, And on the horns of your altars,three looking toward the north, three looking toward the west, three looking toward the south, and three looking toward the east; the Sea was set upon them, and all their back parts pointed inward. By what way is light diffused,
“Son of man, describe the temple to the house of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their iniquities; and let them measure the pattern.
Each gate chamber was one rod long and one rod wide; between the gate chambers was a space of five cubits; and the threshold of the gateway by the vestibule of the inside gate was one rod. On the plates of its flanges and on its panels he engraved cherubim,
Their baker sleeps all night While they lie in wait; In the morning it burns like a flaming fire. Like an oven heated by a baker— “They are all adulterers.
They are all hot, like an oven
Now the upper chambers were shorter, because the galleries took away space from them more than from the lower and middle stories of the building and how he made a pool and a tunnel and brought water into the city— The plans of the diligent lead surely to plenty, the pans, the shovels, the basins, the forks, and the firepans; And he stood by the aqueduct from the upper pool, on the highway to the Fuller’s Field.
The bellows blow fiercely, The lead is consumed by the fire; He makes His arrows into fiery shafts. The smelter refines in vain, For the wicked are not drawn off. those who sat on them had breastplates of fiery red, hyacinth blue, and sulfur yellow; until it is leavened. Should you not know that the Lord God of Israel gave the dominion over Israel to David forever, to him and his sons, by a covenant of salt? Then Isaiah the prophet went to King Hezekiah and asked, “What did those men say, and where did they come from?” “From a distant land,” Hezekiah replied. “They came from Babylon.” I listened and heard, but they do not speak aright. He spoke and commanded that they heat the furnace seven times more than it was usually heated.

The roaring of the lion, The voice of the fierce lion, And the teeth of the young lions are broken. The old lion perishes for lack of prey, And the cubs of the lioness are scattered.
—A mother dashed in pieces upon her children. For there was no rain in the land,
The plowmen were ashamed; They covered their heads.

The Lord God of hosts, He who touches the earth and it melts, And all who dwell there mourn;All of it shall swell like the River, and subside like the River of Egypt. He who builds His layers in the sky, and has founded His strata in the earth; Who calls for the waters of the sea, and pours them out on the face of the earth--The LORD is His name.
Therefore because of you Zion shall be plowed like a field, Jerusalem shall become heaps of ruins, And the mountain of the temple Like the bare hills of the forest.
there is only one decree for you! For you have agreed to speak lying and corrupt words before me till the time has changed.
And this is the sign to you from the Lord, that the Lord will do this thing which He has spoken:
“Behold, I will bring the shadow on the sundial, which has gone down with the sun on the sundial of Ahaz, ten degrees backward.” So the sun returned ten degrees on the dial by which it had gone down.
The earth quakes before them, The heavens tremble; The sun and moon grow dark, And the stars diminish their brightness. Psalm 76:8 The earth feared and was still, 9 When God arose to judgment, To deliver all the oppressed of the earth. Selah
And he opened the bottomless pit, and smoke arose out of the pit like the smoke of a great furnace. So the sun and the air were darkened because of the smoke of the pit. Therefore, Sheol has enlarged itself And opened its mouth beyond measure; Their glory and their multitude and their pomp, And he who is jubilant, shall descend into it.
His stench will come up, and his foul odor will rise, because he has done monstrous things.”
Again they said, “Alleluia! Her smoke rises up forever and ever!
You, Yourself, are to be feared; He made the Pleiades and Orion; He turns the shadow of death into morning and makes the day dark as night; He calls for the waters of the sea And pours them out on the face of the earth; The Lord is His name.
So the people shouted when the priests blew the trumpets. And it happened when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat.
The field is wasted, The land mourns; The stalk has no bud; It shall never produce meal. Because the harvest of the field has perished. If it should produce, Aliens would swallow it up No man repented of his wickedness, Saying, ‘What have I done?’ Everyone turned to his own course,
How the animals groan! The herds of cattle are restless, because they have no pasture; Even the flocks of sheep suffer punishment. For the green grass has withered away; The grass fails, there is nothing green.
So the sun returned ten degrees on the dial by which it had gone down.
O Lord, to You I cry out; For fire has devoured the open pastures, and a flame has burned all the trees of the field. The lion tore in pieces enough for his cubs, Killed for his lionesses, Filled his caves with prey, And his dens with flesh.
Your ox shall be slaughtered before your eyes, but you shall not eat of it; your donkey shall be violently taken away from before you, and shall not be restored to you; your sheep shall be given to your enemies, and you shall have no one to rescue them.All your strongholds are fig trees with ripened figs: If they are shaken,They fall into the mouth of the eater.
Let them flow away as waters which run continually;You carry them away like a flood;They are like a sleep.
When he bends his bow, Let his arrows be as if cut in pieces. Let them be like a snail which melts away as it goes, Like a stillborn child of a woman, that they may not see the sun. Before your pots can feel the burning thorns, He shall take them away as with a whirlwind, As in His living and burning wrath.
Then the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city. And they utterly destroyed all that was in the city, both man and woman, young and old, ox and sheep and donkey, with the edge of the sword.
None among them calls upon Me.
I will chastise them According to what their congregation has heard. Israel has rejected the good; The enemy will pursue him

Israel has rejected the good; The enemy will pursue him
Woe to the land shadowed with buzzing wings, Which is beyond the rivers of Ethiopia, Which sends ambassadors by sea, Even in vessels of reed on the waters, A nation powerful and treading down, Whose land the rivers divide.” When he lifts up a banner on the mountains, you see it; And when he blows a trumpet, you hear it.
So I spoke to you; yet you would not listen, but rebelled against the command of the Lord, and presumptuously went up into the mountain. And the Amorites who dwelt in that mountain came out against you and chased you as bees do, and drove you back from Seir to Hormah. Then you returned and wept before the Lord, but the Lord would not listen to your voice nor give ear to you.
(They surrounded me, Yes, they surrounded me; But in the name of the Lord I will destroy them. They surrounded me like bees;)
Now the number of the army of the horsemen was two hundred million; I heard the number of them. And the heads of the horses were like the heads of lions; and out of their mouths came fire, smoke, and brimstone
By these three plagues a third of mankind was killed—by the fire and the smoke and the brimstone which came out of their mouths.
…. They were quenched like a fire of thorns;
Break their teeth in their mouth, O God! Break out the fangs of the young lions, O Lord! Let them flow away as waters which run continually; When he bends his bow, Let his arrows be as if cut in pieces.
The young lions roar after their prey, And seek their food from God. The young lions lack and suffer hunger; But those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing.
Oh, fear the Lord, you His saints! There is no want to those who fear Him.

“Will the wild ox be willing to serve you? Will he bed by your manger? Can you bind the wild ox in the furrow with ropes? Or will he plow the valleys behind you? Will you trust him because his strength is great? Or will you leave your labor to him?
They did not cry out to Me with their heart When they wailed upon their beds. They are like a treacherous bow.
Wherever they go, I will spread My net on them; I will bring them down like birds of the air; Because they have transgressed My Covenant and rebelled against My law.
Therefore my people have gone into captivity, Because they have no knowledge;Their honorable men are famished, And their multitude dried up with thirst.
Then the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city. Your mother shall be deeply ashamed; She who bore you shall be ashamed. Behold, the least of the nations shall be a wilderness, A dry land and a desert.
“But I will remove far from you the northern army, And will drive him away into a barren and desolate land, With his face toward the eastern sea…. And his back toward the western sea; I will break the pride of your power; I will make your heavens like iron and your earth like bronze.And your heavens which are over your head shall be bronze, and the earth which is under you shall be iron...between degrees of guilt for bloodshed,

It shall even be as when a hungry man dreams, And look—he eats; But he awakes, and his soul is still empty; Or as when a thirsty man dreams, And look—he drinks; But he awakes, and indeed he is faint, And his soul still craves:
So the multitude of all the nations shall be, Who fight against -- Mount Zion.”
Blind yourselves and be blind! They are drunk, but not with wine; They stagger, but not with intoxicating drink.

“Moreover take up a lamentation for the princes of Israel, and say:
‘What is your mother? A lioness:
Who is this coming up from the wilderness, Leaning upon her beloved? Attend to my cry, For I am brought very low; Let not my soul enter their council; Let not my honor be united to their assembly;
For in their anger they slew a man, and in their self-will they hamstrung an ox.
They pant after the dust of the earth which is on the head of the poor, and pervert the way of the humble. A man and his father go into the same girl, To defile My holy name. They shall beat their swords into plowshares, And their spears into pruning hooks;
Deliver me from my persecutors, for they are stronger than I.
…and being stronger than she, he forced her and lay with her. ..She lay down among the lions.

“Woe to them, for they have fled from Me! Destruction to them, because they have transgressed against Me!
And I, where could I take my shame?
Bring my soul out of prison, that I may praise Your name; For indeed they are gone because of destruction.
My son, keep your father’s command, And do not forsake the law of your mother.
“The Lord has trampled underfoot all my mighty men in my midst; “For these things I weep; My eye, my eye overflows with water; Because the comforter, who should restore my life, Is far from me. My children are desolate Because the enemy prevailed.”

Zion spreads out her hands, But no one comforts her;For a voice of wailing is heard from Zion:
‘How we are plundered!
We are greatly ashamed, Because we have forsaken the land, Because we have been cast out of our dwellings.’” Our bones are scattered at the mouth of the grave, As when one plows and breaks up the earth.
But my eyes are upon You, O GOD the Lord; In You I take refuge; Do not leave my soul destitute. Jerusalem has become an unclean thing among them.
And of Zion it will be said,“This one and that one were born in her; And the Most High Himself shall establish her.” The Lord will record, When He registers the peoples:“This One was born there.” Selah

Their judges are overthrown by the sides of the cliff, And they hear my words, for they are sweet.
They were stoned, they were sawn in two, were tempted, were slain with the sword. They wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins, being destitute, afflicted, tormented
— of whom the world was not worthy.
They wandered in deserts and mountains, in dens and caves of the earth. Israel is swallowed up;The wind has wrapped her up in its wings.

“Ephraim is joined to idols, Let him alone.Their drink is rebellion, They commit harlotry continually. Her rulers dearly love dishonor. They shall not dwell in the Lord’s land, But Ephraim shall return to Egypt, And shall eat unclean things in Assyria.
And they shall be ashamed because of their sacrifices.,
Nevertheless, to the degree that we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us be of the same mind.
‘Thus says the Lord God of Israel:
“Cursed is the man who does not obey the words of this covenant which I commanded your fathers in the day I brought them out of the land of Egypt, from the iron furnace, saying,
‘Obey My voice, and do according to all that I command you; so shall you be My people, and I will be your God,’ that I may establish the oath which I have sworn to your fathers, to give them ‘a land flowing with milk and honey,’ as it is this day.”’

”And I answered and said, “So be it, Lord.”
Then the Lord said to me, “Proclaim all these words in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem, saying:
‘Hear the words of this covenant and do them. “Hear the word of the Lord, O nations, And declare it in the isles afar off, and say, The judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether. Moreover, by them Your servant is warned, And in keeping them there is great reward. Pleasant words are like a honeycomb, Sweetness to the soul and health to the bones.
There is a way that seems right to a man but its end is the way of death. For if you refuse to let them go, and still hold them, behold, the hand of the Lord will be on your cattle in the field, on the horses, on the donkeys, on the camels, on the oxen, and on the sheep—a very severe pestilence. And the Lord will make a difference between the livestock of Israel and the livestock of Egypt. So nothing shall die of all that belongs to the children of Israel.”’”
“When I would have healed Israel, Then the iniquity of Ephraim was uncovered, And the wickedness of Samaria. For they have committed fraud;
‘He who scattered Israel will gather him, And keep him as a shepherd does his flock.’
For the Lord has redeemed Jacob, And ransomed him from the hand of one stronger than he. Yet let him remember the days of darkness, With the precious things of the earth and its fullness, And the favor of Him who dwelt in the bush. For they will be many. All that is coming is vanity.
Your lips, O my spouse, Drip as the honeycomb; Honey and milk are under your tongue; And the fragrance of your garments Is like the fragrance of Lebanon. How sweet are Your words to my taste, Sweeter than honey to my mouth! More to be desired are they than gold, Yea, than much fine gold; Sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.. When a strong man, fully armed, guards his own palace, his goods are in peace. But when a stronger than he comes upon him and overcomes him, he takes from him all his armor in which he trusted, and divides his spoils.xA thief comes in; A band of robbers takes spoil outside.
Does not He who weighs the hearts consider it? He who keeps your soul, does He not know it? And will He not render to each man according to his deeds?
He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters. ‘He who scattered Israel will gather him, and keep him as a shepherd does his flock.’ For He gave them their own desire. They were not deprived of their craving; But while their food was still in their mouths, The wrath of God came against them, and slew the stoutest of them, and struck down the choice men of Israel.
...So his father went down to the woman after some time, when he returned to get her, And when the people had come into the woods,he turned aside to see the carcass of the lion. And behold, a swarm of bees and honey were in the carcass of the lion. there was the honey, dripping; but no one put his hand to his mouth, for the people feared the oath.
My son, eat honey because it is good, And the honeycomb which is sweet to your taste; So shall the knowledge of wisdom be to your soul; If you have found it, there is a prospect, and your hope will not be cut off.
He took some of it in his hands and went along, eating. When he came to his father and mother, he gave some to them, and they also ate. But he did not tell them that he had taken the honey out of the carcass of the lion.
“Remember now, whoever perished being innocent? Or where were the upright ever cut off?

Therefore, they shall come and sing in the height of Zion, Streaming to the goodness of the Lord—For wheat and new wine and oil, For the young of the flock and the herd; Their souls shall be like a well-watered garden, and they shall sorrow no more at all.
Our God is the God of salvation; And to GOD the Lord belong escapes from death. But God will wound the head of His enemies,
The hairy scalp of the one who still goes on in his trespasses.
Even as I have seen, those who plow iniquity and sow trouble… reap the same.
And it shall be that the elders of the city nearest to the slain man will take a heifer which has not been worked and which has not pulled with a yoke. The elders of that city shall bring the heifer down to a valley with flowing water, which is neither plowed nor sown, and they shall break the heifer’s neck there in the valley.
By the blast of God they perish, And by the breath of His anger they are consumed.
but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men. For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called.
Will a lion roar in the forest, when he has no prey? Will a young lion cry out of his den, if he has caught nothing?

Thus says the Lord: “For three transgressions of the people of Ammon, and for four, I will not turn away its punishment, Because they ripped open the women with child in Gilead, That they might enlarge their territory.
“How can I give you up, Ephraim? How can I hand you over, Israel? How can I make you like Admah? How can I set you like Zeboiim?
My heart churns within Me; My sympathy is stirred. For I will acquit them of the guilt of bloodshed, whom I had not acquitted; For the Lord dwells in Zion.”
Sing praises to the Lord, who dwells in Zion!
Declare His deeds among the people. Then Jerusalem shall be holy, And no aliens shall ever pass through her again.”
We hung our harps Upon the willows in the midst of it. For there those who carried us away captive asked of us a song, And those who plundered us requested mirth,
Saying, “Sing us one of the songs of Zion!”
...How shall we sing the Lord’s song In a foreign land?
This is the writing of Hezekiah king of Judah, when he had been sick and had recovered from his sickness:
Here I am. Witness against me before the Lord and before His anointed: Whose ox have I taken, or whose donkey have I taken, or whom have I cheated? Whom have I oppressed, or from whose hand have I received any bribe with which to blind my eyes? I will restore it to you.”
Oh, that my head were waters, And my eyes a fountain of tears, That I might weep day and night For the slain of the daughter of my people!
Oh, that I had in the wilderness A lodging place for travelers; That I might leave my people, And go from them!
For they are all adulterers, An assembly of treacherous men. “And like their bow they have bent their tongues for lies. They are not valiant for the truth on the earth. For they proceed from evil to evil, And they do not know Me,” says the Lord. And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity. The tongue is so set among our members that it defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire by hell.
So the daughter of Zion is left as a booth in a vineyard, As a hut in a garden of cucumbers, As a besieged city.
Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, And bless the Lord. The Lord who made heaven and earth Bless you from Zion! Praise the Lord! Sing to the Lord a new song, And His praise in the assembly of saints. Let Israel rejoice in their Maker; Let the children of Zion be joyful in their King. Let them praise His name with the dance; Let them sing praises to Him with the timbrel and harp.
..Now she had wept on him the seven days while their feast lasted. And it happened on the seventh day that he told her, because she pressed him so much. Then she explained the riddle to the sons of her people.So the men of the city said to him on the seventh day before the sun went down:

- And your generals like great grasshoppers,Which camp in the hedges on a cold day; When the sun rises they flee away,

And out of the strong came something sweet.”
“What is sweeter than honey?

Israel will cry to Me, ‘My God, we know You!’

Who established the mountains by His strength, Being clothed with power;
You who still the noise of the seas, The noise of their waves, And the tumult of the peoples.
They also who dwell in the farthest parts are afraid of Your signs;
You make the outgoings of the morning and evening rejoice. You, Yourself, are to be feared;
And who may stand in Your presence When once You are angry? You caused judgment to be heard from heaven;
When it is My desire, I will chasten them. Peoples shall be gathered against them When I bind them for their two transgressions.
Also, O Judah, a harvest is appointed for you, When I return the captives of My people.
You who still the noise of the seas, The noise of their waves, And the tumult of the peoples.
They also who dwell in the farthest parts are afraid of Your signs;
You make the outgoings of the morning and evening rejoice. You, Yourself, are to be feared;
And who may stand in Your presence When once You are angry? You caused judgment to be heard from heaven;
When it is My desire, I will chasten them. Peoples shall be gathered against them When I bind them for their two transgressions.

Ephraim is a trained heifer That loves to thresh grain;
But I harnessed her fair neck, I will make Ephraim pull a plow. Judah shall plow; Jacob shall break his clods.” “At that time,” says the Lord, “they shall bring out the bones of the kings of Judah, and the bones of its princes, and the bones of the priests, and the bones of the prophets, and the bones of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, out of their graves.
Sow for yourselves righteousness; Reap in mercy; Break up your fallow ground, For it is time to seek the Lord, Till He comes and rains righteousness on you
Also, the envy of Ephraim shall depart, And the adversaries of Judah shall be cut off; Ephraim shall not envy Judah, And Judah shall not harass Ephraim. But they shall fly down upon the shoulder of the Philistines toward the west; Together they shall plunder the people of the East; They shall lay their hand on Edom and Moab; And the people of Ammon shall obey them.
And it shall come to pass in that day That the Lord will whistle for the fly That is in the farthest part of the rivers of Egypt, And for the bee that is in the land of Assyria.
Selah!
Destruction and Death say,…‘We have heard a report about it with our ears.’

For there were many in the assembly who had not sanctified themselves; therefore the Levites had charge of the slaughter of the Passover lambs for everyone who was not clean, to sanctify them to the Lord. For a multitude of the people, many from Ephraim, Manasseh, Issachar, and Zebulun, had not cleansed themselves, yet they ate the Passover contrary to what was written. But Hezekiah prayed for them, saying,
“May the good Lord provide atonement for everyone who prepares his heart to seek God, the Lord God of his fathers, though he is not cleansed according to the purification of the sanctuary.”
Faithful are the wounds of a friend, But the kisses of an enemy are deceitful
Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption. For if the blood of bulls and goats and the ashes of a heifer, sprinkling the unclean, sanctifies for the purifying of the flesh, how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
“Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.
“But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.”
But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus. For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep.
The mystery which has been hidden from ages and from generations, but now has been revealed to His saints. To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. Him we preach, warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus.
“Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock:
“But as a mountain falls and crumbles away, And as a rock is moved from its place;
As water wears away stones, And as torrents wash away the soil of the earth;
So You destroy the hope of man. You prevail forever against him, and he passes on;
You change his countenance and send him away.

- Gilead is Mine, and Manasseh is Mine;
- Ephraim also is the helmet for My head;
- Judah is My lawgiver.
- Moab is My washpot;
- Over Edom I will cast My shoe;
- Philistia, shout in triumph because of Me.”
