Who has heard such a thing? Who has seen such things?
Shall the earth be made to give birth in one day? Or shall a nation be born at once?
Shall I bring to the time of birth, and not cause delivery?” says the Lord. “Shall I who cause delivery shut up the womb?” says your God.
“Rejoice with Jerusalem, and be glad with her, all you who love her; Rejoice for joy with her, all you who mourn for her; For as soon as Zion was in labor, She gave birth to her children. Sing to the Lord with thanksgiving; Sing praises on the harp to our God, Who covers the heavens with clouds,
“Joseph is a fruitful bough, A fruitful bough by a well; His branches run over the wall. He grows green in the sun, In the shadow of His Hand He has hidden Me, and made Me a polished shaft; And his branches spread out in his garden. three branches of the lampstand out of one side, and three branches of the lampstand out of the other side Its branches are made white. Her branches are stretched out, His roots wrap around the rock heap, And look for a place in the stones.
‘Your mother was like a vine in your bloodline, planted by the waters, Fruitful and full of branches because of the many waters, She sent out her boughs to the Sea, And her branches to the River. and in the vine were three branches; it was as though it budded, its blossoms shot forth, and its clusters brought forth ripe grapes.
Planted by the waters, Fruitful and full of branches Because of many waters. Their knobs and their branches were of one piece; There was a knob under the first two branches of the same, a knob under the second two branches of the same, and a knob under the third two branches of the same, according to the six branches extending from it. Four or five in its most fruitful branches,” Says the Lord God of Israel. Its shaft, its branches, its bowls, its ornamental knobs, and its flowers were of the same piece. By them the birds of the heavens have their home;They sing among the branches. The Lord called your name, Green Olive Tree, Lovely and of Good Fruit.
And if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive tree, were grafted in among them,You will say then, “Branches were broken off that I might be grafted in.”
For if God did not spare the natural branches, He may not spare you either. For if you were cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and were grafted contrary to nature into a cultivated olive tree, how much more will these, who are natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree?
For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in.
“Listen, O coastlands, to Me, And take heed, you peoples from afar!
The Lord has called Me from the womb;
From the matrix of My mother He has made mention of My name.

“Oh, that my words were written! Oh, that they were inscribed in a book! That they were engraved on a rock with an iron pen and lead, forever!
For I know that my Redeemer lives, And He shall stand at last on the earth;
The people answered and said, “You have a demon. Who is seeking to kill You?”
Then the Lord said to Moses, “Write this for a memorial in the book and recount it in the hearing of Joshua, that I will utterly blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven.”
For we have heard how the Lord dried up the water of the Red Sea for you when you came out of Egypt, and what you did to the two kings of the Amorites who were on the other side of the Jordan, Sihon and Og, whom you utterly destroyed.
And there, in the presence of the children of Israel, he wrote on the stones a copy of the law of Moses, which he had written.
“Remember the Law of Moses, My servant, Which I commanded him in Horeb for all Israel, With the statutes and judgments. Then He said to them, “These are the words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things must be fulfilled which were written in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms concerning Me.”
And He opened their understanding, that they might comprehend the Scriptures.
“The sin of Judah is written with a pen of iron; With the point of a diamond it is engraved On the tablet of their heart, And on the horns of your altars,
The Voice of Your thunder was in the whirlwind; The lightnings lit up the world;

At that time the Lord separated the tribe of Levi to bear the Ark of the Covenant of the Lord,
to stand before the Lord to minister to Him and to bless in His name, to this day.
For in this trusted office were four chief gatekeepers; they were Levites.
And they had charge over the chambers and treasuries of the house of God. And they lodged all around the house of God because they had the responsibility, and they were in charge of opening it every morning.
Now some of them were in charge of the serving vessels, for they brought them in and took them out by count and they commanded the people, saying, “When you see the arc of the covenant of the Lord your God, and the priests, the Levites, bearing it, then you shall set out from your place and go after it.
Yet there shall be a space between you and it,about two thousand cubits by measure. Do not come near it, that you may know the way by which you must go, for you have not passed this way before.”
therefore, the upper level was shortened more than the lower and middle levels from the ground up.
So He brought me to the door of the court; and when I looked, there was a hole in the wall.
wherever there was a clear space on each, with wreaths all around.
“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.
Then Jesus said to them again,
to stand before the Lord to minister to Him and to bless in His name, to this day.
For in this trusted office were four chief gatekeepers; they were Levites.
And they had charge over the chambers and treasuries of the house of God. And they lodged all around the house of God because they had the responsibility, and they were in charge of opening it every morning.

- Each gate chamber was one rod long and one rod wide;
- between the gate chambers was a space of five cubits;
- and the threshold of the gateway by the vestibule of the inside gate was one rod.
- There was a space in front of the gate chambers, one cubit on this side and one cubit on that side;
- the gate chambers were six cubits on this side and six cubits on that side.
- their doorposts and the beveled window frames.
- And the galleries all around their three stories opposite the threshold were paneled with wood from the ground to the windows—the windows were covered— from the space above the door, even to the inner room,
- as well as outside, and on every wall all around, inside and outside, by measure.
- Of this there shall be a square plot for the sanctuary, five hundred by five hundred rods, with fifty cubits around it for an open space.
therefore, the upper level was shortened more than the lower and middle levels from the ground up.
So He brought me to the door of the court; and when I looked, there was a hole in the wall.

“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.

“Whoever is simple, let him turn in here”;And as for him who lacks understanding, she says to him,
“Come, eat of my bread And drink of the wine I have mixed.
But he does not know that the dead are there,
That her guests are in the depths of hell.
Did not He who made me in the womb make them? Did not the same One fashion us in the womb?
Therefore Sheol has enlarged itself And opened its mouth beyond measure; then I will bring you down with those who descend into the Pit,to the people of old, and I will make you dwell in the lowest part of the earth, in places desolate from antiquity, with those who go down to the Pit, so that you may never be inhabited;Their glory and their multitude and their pomp,
And he who is jubilant, shall descend into it.
By the God of your father who will help you,And by the Almighty who will bless you With blessings of heaven above,Blessings of the deep that lies beneath,Blessings of the breasts and of the womb.
AND I shall establish glory in the land of the living.
But he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice; and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.

the Ark of the Covenant of the Lord
is under tent curtains.”
I. Crossing the Jordan, We are Children of Judah, Children of the Promise
Beloved, you do faithfully whatever you do for the brethren and for strangers, who have borne witness of your love before the church. If you send them forward on their journey in a manner worthy of God, you will do well, because they went forth for His name’s sake, taking nothing from the Gentiles. “My people have been lost sheep. Their shepherds have led them astray; They have turned them away on the mountains.
They have gone from mountain to hill;
And it shall come to pass In the place where it was said to them, ‘You are not My people,’
There it shall be said to them, ‘You are sons of the living God.’
At that time the Lord separated the tribe of Levi to bear the Ark of the Covenant of the Lord,to stand before the Lord to minister to Him and to bless in His name, to this day.

Now some of them were in charge of the serving vessels, for they brought them in and took them out by count.
This is what you shall do: One-third of you entering on the Sabbath, of the priests and the Levites, shall be keeping watch over the doors;So He brought me to the door of the court; and when I looked, there was a hole in the wall. wherever there was a clear space on each, with wreaths all around.
Then the children of Gad and the children of Reuben answered, saying: “As the Lord has said to your servants, so we will do. We will cross over armed before the Lord into the land of Canaan, but the possession of our inheritance shall remain with us on this side of the Jordan.”
So Joshua said to the children of Israel, “Come here, and hear the words of the Lord your God.” And Joshua said, “By this you shall know that the living God is among you, and that He will without fail drive out from before you the Canaanites and the Hittites and the Hivites and the Perizzites and the Girgashites and the Amorites and the Jebusites:
Behold, the arc of the covenant of the Lord of all the earth is crossing over before you into the Jordan.
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you.For I am the Lord your God, The Holy One of Israel, your Savior;
These are the ones who crossed the Jordan in the first month, when it had overflowed all its banks; and they put to flight all those in the valleys, to the east and to the west.
So Moses gave command concerning them to Eleazar the priest, to Joshua the son of Nun, and to the chief fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel. And Moses said to them:
“If the children of Gad and the children of Reuben cross over the Jordan with you, every man armed for battle before the Lord, and the land is subdued before you, then you shall give them the land of Gilead as a possession.
But if they do not cross over armed with you, they shall have possessions among you in the land of Canaan.”those in the valleys, to the east and to the west.
……... But your wives, your little ones, and your livestock (I know that you have much livestock) shall stay in your cities which I have given you, until the Lord has given rest to your brethren as to you, and they also possess the land which the Lord your God is giving them beyond the Jordan. Then each of you may return to his possession which I have given you.’
But I will establish My covenant with you; and you shall go into the arc—you, your sons, your wife, and your sons’ wives with you.
“Hear, O Israel: You are to cross over the Jordan today,
and go in to dispossess nations greater and mightier than yourself, cities great and fortified up to heaven, a people great and tall, the descendants of the Anakim, whom you know, and of whom you heard it said, ‘Who can stand before the descendants of Anak?’
Therefore understand today that the Lord your God is He who goes over before you as a consuming fire. He will destroy them and bring them down before you; so you shall drive them out and destroy them quickly, as the Lord has said to you.
The Amalekites dwell in the land of the South; the Hittites, the Jebusites, and the Amorites dwell in the mountains; and the Canaanites dwell by the sea and along the banks of the Jordan.”
The children of Israel shall pitch their tents, everyone by his own camp, everyone by his own standard, according to their armies;
On the east side, toward the rising of the sun, those of the Standard of the Forces with Judah shall camp according to their armies;
and Nahshon the son of Amminadab shall be the leader of the Children of Judah.”
First:
“All who were numbered according to their Armies of the Forces with Judah,
“On the south side shall be the Standard of the Forces with Reuben according to their armies, and the leader of the Children of Reuben shall be Elizur the son of Shedeur.”
“On the west side shall be the Standard of the Forces with Ephraim according to their armies, and the leader of the children of Ephraim shall be Elishama the son of Ammihud.”
“The Standard of the Forces with Dan shall be on the north side according to their armies, and the leader of the children of Dan shall be Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai.”
“Those who camp next to him shall be the tribe of Asher, and the leader of the children of Asher shall be Pagiel the son of Ocran.”
And his army was numbered at forty-one thousand five hundred. 41,500
These are the ones who were numbered of the children of Israel by their fathers’ houses. All who were numbered according to their armies of the forces were six hundred and three thousand five hundred and fifty. 603550
But the Levites were not numbered among the children of Israel, just as the Lord commanded Moses.but the Levites shall camp around the Tabernacle of the Testimony, that there may be no wrath on the congregation of the children of Israel; and the Levites shall keep charge of the Tabernacle of the Testimony.”
And the children of Israel, according to their number, the heads of fathers’ houses,
the captains of thousands and hundreds and their officers,served the king in every matter of the military divisions.
These divisions came in and went out month by month throughout all the months of the year, each division having twenty-four thousand.
“Then I commanded you at that time, saying: ‘The Lord your God has given you this land to possess. All you men of valor men trained for battle, who could handle shield and spear, whose faces were like the faces of lions, and were as swift as gazelles on the mountains:
shall cross over armed before your brethren, the children of Israel.
we will go up and fight, just as the LORD our God commanded us.’ And when everyone of you had girded on his weapons of war, you were ready to go up into the mountain.
The common-land will shake at the sound of the cry of your pilots.
They have gone from mountain to hill;
And it shall come to pass In the place where it was said to them, ‘You are not My people,’
There it shall be said to them, ‘You are sons of the living God.’

“On the south side shall be the Standard of the Forces with Reuben according to their armies, and the leader of the Children of Reuben shall be Elizur the son of Shedeur.”
- one hundred and fifty-one thousand four hundred and fifty—they shall be the second to break camp. 151,450.

“The Standard of the Forces with Dan shall be on the north side according to their armies, and the leader of the children of Dan shall be Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai.”
- And his army was numbered at sixty-two thousand seven hundred. 62,700
“Those who camp next to him shall be the tribe of Asher, and the leader of the children of Asher shall be Pagiel the son of Ocran.”
And his army was numbered at forty-one thousand five hundred. 41,500
- “Then comes the tribe of Naphtali, and the leader of the children of Naphtali shall be Ahira the son of Enan.” And his army was numbered at fifty-three thousand four hundred. 53,400
- “All who were numbered of the forces with Dan, one hundred and fifty-seven thousand six hundred—they shall break camp last, with their standards.” 157,600
Wheels
And the cherubim lifted their wings and mounted up from the earth in my sight. When they went out, the wheels were beside them; and they stood at the door of the east gate of the Lord’s house, and the glory of the God of Israel was above them.
The workmanship of the wheels was like the workmanship of a chariot wheel; The appearance of the wheels and their workings was like the color of beryl, As for the wheels, they were called in my hearing,… “Wheel.”
The appearance of their workings was, as it were, a wheel in the middle of a wheel. When they went, I heard the noise of their wings, like the noise of many waters, like the voice of the Almighty, a tumult like the noise of an army; and when they stood still, they let down their wings.
I will abide in Your tabernacle forever; I will trust in the shelter of Your wings. Selah
Their horses also are swifter than leopards, And more fierce than evening wolves. and when the living creatures were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up and when they stood still, they let down their wings.
That day was the Preparation, and the Sabbath drew near.
“Set up signposts, Make landmarks;Set your heart toward the highway, the way in which you went.
They go from strength to strength;
Each one appears before God in Zion.Behold, He shall come up and fly like the eagle, the heart of the mighty men of Edom in that day shall be Like the heart of a woman in birth pangs.
Their chargers charge ahead; Their cavalry comes from afar; They fly as the eagle that hastens to eat. Like birds flying about, so will the Lord of hosts defend Jerusalem. Defending, He will also deliver it; Passing over, He will preserve it.”
And He rode upon a cherub, and flew; and he was seen upon the wings of the wind.He made darkness His secret place; His canopy around Him was dark waters and thick clouds of the skies.
And their whole body, with their back, their hands, their wings, and the wheels that the four had, were full of eyes all around.
Their duty included the arc, the screen, and all the work relating to them the table, the lampstand, the altars, the utensils of the sanctuary with which they ministered,
Now when these things had been thus prepared, the priests always went into the first part of the tabernacle, performing the services.

- the screen for the door of the gate of the court,
Now when these things had been thus prepared, the priests always went into the first part of the tabernacle, performing the services.
Each man had a censer in his hand, and a thick cloud of incense went up. And the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, ascended before God from the angel’s hand. Then the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar, and threw it to the earth.And there were noises, thunderings, lightnings, and an earthquake.
They do not push one another; Every one marches in his own column. Though they lunge between the weapons, they are not cut down. They run to and fro in the city, they run on the wall; They climb into the houses, They enter at the windows like a thief.
The earth quakes before them,The heavens tremble; The sun and moon grow dark, And the stars diminish their brightness.
Look also at ships: although they are so large and are driven by fierce winds, they are turned by a very small rudder wherever the pilot desires
“All the pilots of the sea Will come down from their ships and stand on the shore. They will make their voice heard because of you;
Then He spoke to the man clothed with linen, and said, “Go in among the wheels, under the cherub, fill your hands with coals of fire from among the cherubim, and scatter them over the city.” And he went in as I watched.
“When the Lord your God brings you into the land which you go to possess, and has cast out many nations before you, the Hittites and the Girgashites and the Amorites and the Canaanites and the Perizzites and the Hivites and the Jebusites, seven nations greater and mightier than you,
On the rock it dwells and resides,On the crag of the rock and the stronghold. From there it spies out the prey;Its eyes observe from afar. Its young ones suck up blood;And where the slain are, there it is.”

- you shall conquer them and utterly destroy them.
- You shall make no covenant with them nor show mercy to them.
- Nor shall you make marriages with them.
- You shall not give your daughter to their son, nor take their daughter for your son.
For My Angel will go before you and bring you in to the Amorites and the Hittites and the Perizzites and the Canaanites and the Hivites and the Jebusites; and I will cut them off.
They will cry bitterly and cast dust on their heads; They will roll about in ashes; and I delivered you out of the hand of the Egyptians and out of the hand of all who oppressed you, and drove them out before you and gave you their land.
As for Ephraim, their glory shall fly away like a bird— No birth, no pregnancy, and no conception!

According to the doings of the land of Egypt, where you dwelt, you shall not do; and according to the doings of the land of Canaan, where I am bringing you, you shall not do; nor shall you walk in their ordinances.
For the Lord your God is bringing you into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and springs, that flow out of valleys and hills; a land of wheat and barley, of vines and fig trees and pomegranates, a land of olive oil and honey;
…Also I said to you, “I am the Lord your God; do not fear the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell.” But you have not obeyed My Voice.’”
Moreover the people of Ammon crossed over the Jordan to fight against Judah also, against Benjamin, and against the house of Ephraim, so that Israel was severely distressed. From that year they harassed and oppressed the children of Israel for eighteen years--all the children of Israel who were on the other side of the Jordan in the land of the Amorites, in Gilead.
“When the Lord your God brings you into the land which you go to possess, and has cast out many nations before you, the Hittites and the Girgashites and the Amorites and the Canaanites and the Perizzites and the Hivites and the Jebusites, seven nations greater and mightier than you,
So it shall be, when you are on the verge of battle,that the priest shall approach and speak to the people. And he shall say to them,
‘Hear, O Israel: Today you are on the verge of battle with your enemies. Do not let your heart faint, do not be afraid, and do not tremble or be terrified because of them;
for the Lord your God is He who goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.’
“But of the cities of these peoples which the Lord your God gives you as an inheritance, you shall let nothing that breathes remain alive,but you shall utterly destroy them:
lest they teach you to do according to all their abominations which they have done for their gods, and you sin against the Lord your God.
So he went with them. And when they came to the Jordan, they cut down trees.
Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:
“When you take the census of the children of Israel for their number, then every man shall give a ransom for himself to the Lord, when you number them, that there may be no plague among them when you number them. For any man who has a defect shall not approach: a man blind or lame, who has a marred face or any limb too long,Now those who were numbered of them were twenty-three thousand, every male from a month old and above;
For they were not numbered among the other children of Israel, because there was no inheritance given to them among the children of Israel.
These are those who were numbered by Moses and Eleazar the priest, who numbered the children of Israel in the plains of Moab by the Jordan, across from Jericho. But among these there was not a man of those who were numbered by Moses and Aaron the priest when they numbered the children of Israel in the Wilderness of Sinai.
“Who are these who fly like a cloud, And like doves to their roosts?
These are the ones who crossed the Jordan in the first month, when it had overflowed all its banks; and they put to flight all those in the valleys, to the east and to the west.
Over mountaintops they leap, Like the noise of a flaming fire that devours the stubble, Like a strong people set in battle array.
They shall ascend with acceptance on My altar, And I will glorify the house of My glory. Their silver and their gold with them, To the name of the Lord your God, And to the Holy One of Israel, Because He has glorified you.
Now all the people gathered together as one man in the open square that was in front of the Water Gate;
So the priests who bore the ark stood in the midst of the Jordan until everything was finished that the Lord had commanded Joshua to speak to the people, according to all that Moses had commanded Joshua; and the people hurried and crossed over.
Now the people came up from the Jordan on the tenth day of the first month,
and as those who bore the ark came to the Jordan, and the feet of the priests who bore the ark dipped in the edge of the water (for the Jordan overflows all its banks during the whole time of harvest),
So He brought me to the door of the court; and when I looked, there was a hole in the wall.
Then He said to me, “Son of man, dig into the wall”; and when I dug into the wall, there was a door.
wherever there was a clear space on each, with wreaths all around.
Then Jesus said to them again, “Most assuredly, I say to you, I am the Door of the Sheep.
“Whoever is simple, let him turn in here”
but the sheep did not hear them.
Indeed, the river may rage, yet he is not disturbed; He is confident, though the Jordan gushes into his mouth, though he takes it in his eyes, Or one pierces his nose with a snare.
Then I looked, and behold, a whirlwind was coming out of the north, a great cloud with raging fire engulfing itself; and brightness was all around it and radiating out of its midst like the color of amber, out of the midst of the fire. The torrent of Kishon swept them away, that ancient torrent, the torrent of Kishon. O my soul, march on in strength!
“Thus says the Lord God: ‘A disaster, a singular disaster; Behold, it has come!
So when the ship was caught, and could not head into the wind, we let her drive.
And because we were exceedingly tempest-tossed, the next day they lightened the ship. On the third day we threw the ship’s tackle overboard with our own hands. Now when neither sun nor stars appeared for many days, and no small tempest beat on us, all hope that we would be saved was finally given up.And in all we were two hundred and seventy-six persons on the ship.
“When the waves of death surrounded me, the floods of ungodliness made me afraid. The sorrows of Sheol surrounded me; The snares of death confronted me.
Then their hearts failed them and they were afraid, saying to one another, “What is this that God has done to us?”
But he said, “You are idle! Idle!
When I heard, my body trembled; My lips quivered at the voice; Rottenness entered my bones; And I trembled in myself, That I might rest in the day of trouble.
For I know your manifold transgressions And your mighty sins:
“My days are swifter than a weaver’s shuttle,

and when they had gone a little farther,they took soundings again and found it to be fifteen fathoms.
they used cables to undergird the ship; and fearing lest they should run aground on the Syrtis Sands, they struck sail and so were driven
Then, fearing lest we should run aground on the rocks, they dropped four anchors from the stern, and prayed for day to come.
And Running under the shelter of an island called Clauda, we secured the skiff with difficulty…As the sparks fly upward.
Then We were like those who dream. Then our mouth was filled with laughter, And our tongue with singing. Then they said among the nations, “The Lord has done great things for them.”
The Lord has done great things for us, And we are glad.
And he was afraid and said, “How awesome is this place!
This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven!”
for the Lord your God dried up the waters of the Jordan before you until you had crossed over, as the Lord your God did to the Red Sea, which He dried up before us until we had crossed over,)
Yet in Your manifold mercies You did not forsake them in the wilderness. The pillar of the cloud did not depart from them by day, To lead them on the road; Nor the pillar of fire by night, To show them light, And the way they should go.

So the Lord said to Joshua: “Get up! Why do you lie thus on your face?
“Listen, O coastlands, to Me, And take heed, you peoples from afar!
The Lord has called Me from the womb; From the matrix of My mother He has made mention of My name
Hilkiah the priest found the Book of the Law of the Lord given by Moses. And the books were open.
‘What man is there who has built a new house and has not dedicated it?
Let him go and return to his house, lest he die in the battle and another man dedicate it.
Therefore not even the first covenant was dedicated without blood.
You in Your mercy have led forth The people whom You have redeemed; You have guided them in Your strength To Your holy habitation.…….
(you have gone from mountain to hill)
By the God of your father who will help you, And by the Almighty who will bless you With blessings of heaven above, Blessings of the deep that lies beneath, Blessings of the breasts and of the womb.
The blessings of your father Have excelled the blessings of my ancestors, Up to the utmost bound of the everlasting hills.For You have been a strength to the poor, A strength to the needy in his distress, A refuge from the storm, A shade from the heat; For the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall.
O Zion,You who bring good tidings,Get up into the high mountain;O Jerusalem,You who bring good tidings,Lift up your voice with strength, Lift it up, be not afraid;
Say to the cities of Judah, “Behold your God!”, Sing, O heavens, for the Lord has done it!
Shout, you lower parts of the earth;Break forth into singing, you mountains,O forest, and every tree in it!
“The alien who is among you shall rise higher and higher above you, and you shall come down lower and lower.
For the Lord has redeemed Jacob,And glorified Himself in Israel.
Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, And He who formed you from the womb:
“I am the Lord, who makes all things, who stretches out the heavens all alone, who spreads abroad the earth by Myself;
Who frustrates the signs of the babblers, and drives diviners mad;
Who turns wise men backward, And makes their knowledge foolishness;
for the children have come to birth, but there is no strength to bring them forth.
Surely you did not hear, surely you did not know; Surely from long ago your ear was not opened. For I knew that you would deal very treacherously, And were called a transgressor from the womb.
And Moses said to the people: “Remember this day in which you went out of Egypt, out of the house of bondage; for by strength of hand the Lord brought you out of this place. No leavened bread shall be eaten. “And now the Lord says, Who formed Me from the womb to be His Servant, To bring Jacob back to Him, So that Israel is gathered to Him (For I shall be glorious in the eyes of the Lord, And My God shall be My strength),
Every Sabbath he shall set it in order before the Lord continually, being taken from the children of Israel by an everlasting covenant.
Who is this who comes from Edom, With dyed garments from Bozrah,This One who is glorious in His apparel,Traveling in the greatness of His strength?
—“I who speak in righteousness, mighty to save.”
… I went down to the moorings of the mountains;The earth with its bars closed behind me forever;
Yet You have brought up my life from the pit, O Lord, my God.
“Now therefore, fear the Lord, serve Him in sincerity and in truth, and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the River and in Egypt.
Serve the Lord!
And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord,
choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve,
whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell.
But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”
So the people answered and said:
“Far be it from us that we should forsake the Lord to serve other gods;
for the Lord our God is He who brought us and our fathers up out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage,
who did those great signs in our sight, and preserved us in all the way that we went and
among all the people through whom we passed.
And the Lord drove out from before us all the people, including the Amorites who dwelt in the land.
O Zion,You who bring good tidings,Get up into the high mountain;O Jerusalem,You who bring good tidings,Lift up your voice with strength, Lift it up, be not afraid;
“I am the Lord, who makes all things, who stretches out the heavens all alone, who spreads abroad the earth by Myself;
Who frustrates the signs of the babblers, and drives diviners mad;
Who turns wise men backward, And makes their knowledge foolishness;
for the children have come to birth, but there is no strength to bring them forth.
… I went down to the moorings of the mountains;The earth with its bars closed behind me forever;
“Far be it from us that we should forsake the Lord to serve other gods;

III. Children of the Promise
And that their children, who have not known it, may hear and learn to fear the Lord your God as long as you live in the land which you cross the Jordan to possess.”
Therefore keep the words of this covenant, and do them, “that it may be well with you and you may live long on the earth.”that you may prosper in all that you do.
for the Lord hears your complaints which you make against Him.
And what are we?
Your complaints are not against us but against the Lord.”
And thus you shall say to him who lives in prosperity: ‘Peace be to you, peace to your house, and peace to all that you have!
We also will serve the Lord, for He is our God.”
Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are Children of Promise.
But, as he who was born according to the flesh then persecuted him who was born according to the Spirit, even so it is now.
What am I saying then?
For we, though many, are one bread and one body; for we all partake of that one bread.
.......I went down to the garden of nuts
To see the verdure of the valley, To see whether the vine had budded And the pomegranates had bloomed.
And the Angel of the Lord........... stoodby.
Selah!
“I am one mocked by his friends, Who called on God, and He answered him, The just and blameless who is ridiculed.Count me as a stranger; I am an alien in their sight. ~Job 12:4
Selah!
…And he said to me, ‘Who are you?’ So I answered him, ‘I am an Amalekite.’
He said to me again, ‘Please stand over me and kill me, for anguish has come upon me, but my life still remains in me.’
Then David said to the young man who told him, “Where Are you from?”
And he answered, “I am the son of an alien, an Amalekite.” (to be continued)
Clearly you are an epistle of Christ, ministered by us, written not with ink but by the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of flesh, that is, of the heart.
(For all the Athenians and the foreigners who were there spent their time in nothing else but either to tell or to hear some new thing.) (clue)
Amen
