Lost World

My world without you,
 is only pale shades of gray,
and all the while,
In the deepest recesses of my mind,
the echo of empty promises, 
My heart filled with the bitter pain of a lost message, 
I’m found cold, 
and alone, 
as I thirst for what once was,
