Fantasy is What We Want, Reality is what We need.
(Proverbs 13:19, Proverbs 7:10-12, Jeremiah 2:33, Jeremiah 2:24, Isaiah 29:15, Jeremiah 6:7, Jeremiah 2:35,1 Samuel 25:34, Jeremiah 9:3, Jeremiah 4:31, Jeremiah 2:25, Jeremiah 6:15, Ecclesiastes 6:1, Proverbs 14:12, Ecclesiastes 6:7, Proverbs 13:7, Jeremiah 5:8, Jeremiah 9:5,Proverbs 10:23, Jeremiah 5:7, Jeremiah 3:1, Jeremiah 3:5, Jeremiah 2:37, Jeremiah 4:4, Jeremiah 9:20, Jeremiah 9:25, Jeremiah 9:6, Proverbs 6:5)
Desire accomplished is sweet to the soul, But it is an abomination to fools to depart from evil.
And there a woman met him, with the attire of a harlot, and a crafty heart. She was loud and rebellious, her feet would not stay at home. At times she was outside, at times in the open square, lurking at every corner.
"Why do you beautify your way to seek love?
A wild donkey used to the wilderness, that sniffs at the wind in her desire; in her time of mating, who can turn her away? All those who seek her will not weary themselves; in her month they will find her.
Woe to those who seek deep to hide their counsel far from the Lord, and their works are in the dark; They say, "Who sees us?" and "Who knows us?"
As fountains wells up with water, so she wells up with her wickedness. Yet you say, "I am innocent, for indeed, as the Lord God of Israel lives!
("And like their bow they have bent their tongues for lies.")
"For I have heard a voice as of a women in labor, the anguish as of her who brings forth her first child, The voice of the daughter of Zion bewailing herself.
Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? No! They were not at all ashamed; Nor did they know how to blush.
Withhold your foot from being unshod, and your throat from thirst. But you said, 'There is no hope. No! for I have fallen in love with strangers, and after them I will go.'
There is an evil which I have seen under the sun, and it is common among men:
There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death. All labor of man is for his mouth, and yet the soul is not satisfied.
There is one whom makes himself rich, yet has nothing; and one who makes himself poor, yet has great riches. They were like well-fed lusty stallions; everyone neighed after his neighbor's wife.
Everyone will deceive his neighbor, and will not speak the truth; they have taught their tongue to speak lies. They weary themselves to commit iniquity. To do evil is like sport to a fool, but a man of understanding has wisdom.
"How shall I pardon you for this?"
They say, 'If a man divorces his wife, and she goes from him and becomes another man's, may he return to her again?' Would not that land be greatly polluted? But you have played the harlot with many lovers; Yet return to Me," say's the Lord.
(Will he remain angry forever? Will He keep it to the end?)
Indeed you will go forth from him with your hands on your head. For the Lord has rejected your trusted allies, and you will not prosper by them. Circumcise yourselves to the Lord, and take away the foreskins of you hearts, you men of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem, lest my fury come forth like fire, and burn so that no one can quench it, because of your evil doings."
Yet, hear the word of the Lord, O women, and let your ear receive the word of His mouth; Teach your daughters wailing, and everyone her neighbor a lamentation.
Behold, the days are coming," says the Lord, "that I will punish all who are circumcised with the uncircumcised-
Selah!
Your dwelling place is in the midst of deceit; deliver yourselves like a gazelle from the hand of the hunter, and like a bird from the hand of the fowler.
